Q How do you think about learning and development and the ties between these two processes as we raise and educate children, especially given the global challenges we face.
The way how I think is next: learning is the part of development. Usually, when society talks about development, it means the stage we are on/at (we have more and less developed countries). However, learning is the process (skill set) that helps us grow and change the level of development. There are many different stages of personal development. If we talk about children, we should mention schools and daycare centers where they are learning new things every second, which help them in the development process. Educators have an extraordinary opportunity to shape the developing brains of children and to create that kind of stimulus that drives the integration of the brain.
